Your Bourse Opens Kuala Lumpur Office for APAC Operations…

Your Bourse has opened an office in Kuala Lumpur to house operations and support staff serving its Asia-Pacific clients. The trading-technology provider said in its company announcement that Konstantin Chernevskii will lead the new location. The office gives Your Bourse a physical base closer to brokers and other firms using its technology in the region. The company attributed the decision to growth in its APAC business and client base, although it did not publish regional revenue, client numbers, staffing levels or investment figures. The announcement concerns operational presence rather than a new regulated trading entity or product launch. It does not state that the Kuala Lumpur office will onboard clients, hold client assets or provide regulated brokerage services.

Operations and Support Move Closer to APAC Clients

Your Bourse provides infrastructure used by brokers for liquidity management, pricing, execution, risk and reporting. Locating support and operations staff in Kuala Lumpur can reduce time-zone gaps and give clients access to teams during the Asian trading day.Konstantin Chernevskii, head of the Kuala Lumpur office at Your Bourse, said: “As Your Bourse continues to grow across APAC, having a team on the ground in Kuala Lumpur will allow us to work more closely with our clients in the region and better support their day-to-day operations. I’m looking forward to leading the new office and building an even stronger local presence as we continue to grow.”Local support can be important for infrastructure that operates continuously and connects several systems. A pricing or routing issue can affect client execution immediately, while configuration changes may need coordination among a broker, liquidity providers and platform vendors.Other institutional providers are also adding regional or product-specific leadership. MEX Exchange appointed Brian Liedberg to lead global sales, while DIGITEC hired Callum Dunn to lead its FX forwards business.

Kuala Lumpur Adds a Regional Delivery Base

The office forms part of Your Bourse’s international expansion rather than replacing its existing locations. Kuala Lumpur offers a base in Southeast Asia from which staff can work with clients across several APAC markets.Regional proximity does not remove differences among those markets. Client onboarding, data handling, outsourcing and trading services can be subject to different rules in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and other jurisdictions. The responsibilities of the Kuala Lumpur team will therefore depend on the service being provided and the entity contracting with each client.Your Bourse’s decision follows broader investment in Asia-facing market infrastructure. Clear Street has expanded its embedded brokerage leadership, and brokers are extending product access beyond the main US trading session. Both trends increase the need for support coverage across time zones. The company has not disclosed how many employees will work from Kuala Lumpur or which functions will remain centralised elsewhere. Those details will determine whether the office is primarily a client-support hub or develops into a broader regional operation.

APAC Growth Raises Service and Infrastructure Demands

Asia-Pacific contains mature financial centres and growing retail trading markets, but brokers operating across the region need to connect different payment systems, liquidity sources and regulatory requirements. Technology vendors compete partly on how quickly they can support those configurations.Trading workflows are also becoming more automated. Bloomberg has automated end-to-end FX options requests, and BGC has completed an AI-brokered listed derivatives trade. As automation increases, regional teams still need to manage exceptions, investigate failures and communicate with clients.Your Bourse framed the office around the principle of operating close to clients. The measurable effect will come from response times, regional client retention and the functions transferred to Kuala Lumpur rather than from the office opening itself. The expansion also gives the company a base from which it could add technical, implementation or commercial staff later. No such additions were announced. For now, the confirmed scope is operations and support under Chernevskii’s leadership.
